Rowan Detention Annex Overview

A person may move between the main detention center and the annex based on classification, sex, security level, population needs, court transport, or release timing. The roster's holding-facility field is therefore more useful for a current housing check than any static population number.

Because the annex is not the main booking hub, new arrests generally connect first to the downtown detention center. After intake, classification, court status, and operational review, an inmate may be housed at the annex. Movement may also occur for court, medical, release, or population reasons. Rowan Annex Records Limits
